What we did
Ice Lab: New Architecture and Science in Antarctica— an international touring exhibition commissioned by the British Council and curated by the Arts Catalyst. The exhibition illustrated how innovative contemporary architecture enables scientists to live and work in one of the most extreme environments on our planets.
Aldworth James & Bond was asked to build the exhibition by We Made That, an energetic architecture and design studio who designed the exhibition. We constructed several modular components, such as plywood boxes, aluminium frames, bespoke lighting and screen-printed felt panels, that were simple to assemble and transport meaning they could be reorganised easily depending on the exhibition space.
