What we did

For a new studio space at the Wimbledon College of Art, Aldworth James & Bond worked with multi-disciplinary design practice Simon Jones Studio to produce a system of movable desks and panels for 80 fine art and theatre design students. Each desk and panel were constructed using stained plywood, pine and cork faces, stained and fitted with castor wheels.

Every component was designed and built to be easy to move and re-position allowing different configurations to suit the students’ needs – working studio, exhibition space and so on.
