What we did
British fashion brand Christopher Raeburn appointed Aldworth James & Bond to create a new studio space in Hackney, tasking our team with delivering a multifunctional space that included an office area, production facilities space for events and model fittings. The ground floor space was an empty shell, and required a light touch in its fitting out.
As well as advising on M&E and new flooring, we also designed and fabricated joinery items for the studio that featured the Christopher Raeburn cross, for a subtle brand touch point. The client already had several furniture items that we were able to drop in, and we were able to use the Raeburn shark print in the kitchen area splashback.
This was a great challenge for our design team, creating a flexible working environment for a growing and hugely talented team, but one which we thoroughly enjoyed.
