Aldworth James & Bond was appointed as principal contractor for the second SHOW Dry salon in south west London, which opened in the summer of 2016. Located in the heart of Wimbledon village, the new salon space was spread over two floors. The main ground floor space included eight custom styling stations, positioned beneath the feature ceiling— built and installed by our makers at AJ&B. The reception desk, feature rose gold shelving for retail display and SHOWbar were also installed on the ground floor. Dedicated children’s play space and buggy parking completed the client-led approach.
In the rear of the salon we created a private styling area offering VIP clients a secluded space area in which to enjoy their treatments. In the basement space we installed luxurious wash stations, client facilities, back of house services, fitted storage cupboards and rose gold mirrored panels.
Our design team developed the original brand concept from SHOW Dry’s flagship in Westbourne Grove (by WilsonHolloway Architects), and worked closely with the Aldworth James & Bond makers and site teams to ensure an efficient and successful build.
