With just two weeks until the opening of Clerkenwell Design Week, work is well underway at our workshops to finish fabricating our feature installation for St John's Gate, 'Order' by Aldworth James & Bond.
Thanks to our kind sponsor Corian® we are using five colours of the solid surface material in the structure: Aqua, Burled Beach, Clamshell, Juniper and Silver Birch. The sheets have been CNC routed by our digital fabrication team in to 144 identical octagonal shapes, bearing the Cross of the Order of St John. The project has also been supported by the wonderful team at Applelec Lighting, who will be helping us with illuminating 'Order' in the arch at St John's Gate.
